How much does an HDMI port replacement cost?

It varies by console — PS4 is generally the cheapest, PS5 and Xbox Series consoles cost more due to the part and the labour. Bring it in for a free quote — we'll show you the damaged port and quote you a fixed price before we start.

Can you fix Joy-Con drift properly?

Yes — and we replace the actual stick module, not just clean it. Cleaning is a temporary fix; a new stick is the real solution. We can also fit hall-effect sticks that don't drift at all if you want the upgrade.

My PS5 sounds like a hairdryer — can you fix it?

Almost certainly. After a year or two of normal use, dust builds up in the cooling system and the thermal paste from factory dries out. We strip the console, deep clean every part, and apply fresh high-quality thermal paste. The difference is night and day — you'll think it's a new console.

My console won't read discs. New drive needed?

Not necessarily. Sometimes it's just a dirty laser or a belt that's slipped. We diagnose first — if a clean and adjustment sorts it, you'll only pay for that.

Will I lose my games / saves?

Hardware repairs (HDMI, fans, disc drives) don't affect your data. For storage upgrades we migrate everything for you. For board-level repairs we always try to preserve data, but we'll warn you up front if there's any risk.

Do you repair retro consoles?

Yes — Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, original Xbox, older Nintendo systems. Parts are harder to source for some, but we love this kind of work. Bring it in and we'll see what we can do.

My Switch screen is cracked / has dead pixels — fixable?

Yes — we replace Switch screens regularly. Original Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED all repairable. Same-day in most cases.
